Jurassic Park 3 (2001, PG-13)

Jurassic Park 3 is a wholly unnecessary film and the weakest of the Jurassic Park films, although it will give some people a fun, thrilling ride despite its shorter length (90 minutes).  It feels more like an amusement park ride based off of both of the previous Jurassic Park films rather than a feature film.
Jurassic Park 3 doesn’t give anything new or improved over the previous Jurassic Park films.  The dinosaur action remains the same as it was; dinosaurs chasing and eating people.  The story was too simplistic and predictable.  The acting, script and directing was all average, fortunately not horrible.  Jurassic Park 3 failed to grip or intrigue not near as much as Jurassic Park did, and it kept the same dinosaurs that The Lost World had (not including a new Spinosaurus that steals the spotlight from the T-Rex), but didn’t make any improvements over The Lost World either.
Jurassic Park 3 doesn’t give us anything new over the previous Jurassic Park films, it was unnecessary and too predictable, and was for sure the weakest of the films, but is at least something to watch.
