Movie Year: 2010

Critics generally considered 2010 to be a rather weak movie year, while audiences seemed to disagree.  Indeed, there were quite a rather weak movies, much of them the senseless action flick kind.  However, I find myself disagreeing that 2010 was a weak movie year.

The Social Network, Inception, True Grit, Toy Story 3 and the King's Speech were all either great or good movies because of their outstanding production value and also because all of them were significantly entertaining and memorable.

Generally, I found 2010 to be a good movie year that was simply downed by the fact that it had numerous senseless movies that either could have been done better or shouldn't have been done at all.

Besides, the audience seemed to like 2010, as there were a number of either box-office hits or strong box-office results for both the goods movies and the bad ones.  2010 may not have ended in a wallop, but by the looks of it, it has more in it's package then what 2011 has to offer.
