Simply put, Batman and Robin is a truly awful, ridiculous and insane motion picture, that feels more like a lame cartoon show then a movie.

Joel Schumacher returns to helm as director, and George Clooney replaces Kilmer. There’s a multitude of villains: Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) and Bane. Batman and Robin are having conflict with one another, but nevertheless put aside their differences to bring down the villains.
I didn’t like this movie at all, and it was a waste of my time, a film not worth viewing, purely because it was bad. Schwarzenegger is always an entertaining action actor to watch. Here, he gives one of the least important performances of his career. Clooney is the new actor to portray Batman, and his performance was simply terrible.
This was a waste of a movie. Schumacher returns us to the flashy and loud special effects of before, but seriously brings down the level by doing nothing with his characters and plot. It wasn’t enjoyable at all, and I kept on wishing and hoping for the ending to get it over with.
In count, the plot resembles too much as the plot to Batman Forever, which wasn’t a good movie at all but also not as bad as this.
There were plans for a fifth and final installment, titled Batman Triumphant but thankfully the movie was cancelled, and instead rebooted with Batman Begins, which really was a triumph in the Batman series.
Batman and Robin was truly awful, an embarrassment to the superhero genre. I actually feel sorry for the cast and crew who had to go through with this piece of crap.
