The Mission Impossible series continues. The first Mission Impossible film was underwhelming and this sequel even more so. The movie overdoes slow motion and the fast paced action. This is not your James Bond or Jason Bourne movie.
Mission Impossible 2 is faster paced and more action packed then the original film. By now, I’ve already gotten tired of people putting on fake masks to trick people and the other Mission Impossible stuff.
The acting is poor in that much of it is overconfident and too over done. Once again, the action scenes are very unrealistic so that it’s actually funny at times. Close up shots and quick editing doesn’t make it any better either.
Tom Cruise, the hero of the first film, returns as the hero of the sequel. He isn’t as suave as James Bond or determined as Jason Bourne.
Mission Impossible 2 didn’t improve upon the original Mission Impossible movie at all, even though I hoped it would; some Mission Impossible fans won’t be disappointed, others will, and people wanting fast paced, complex action will want to watch this. It seems like that it was made for teens.
