Bottomline: the Lightning Thief did not make that good of cinema at all. Not that I expected it to be a good movie or anything, but at least I could have expected it to be something entertaining though forgettable to watch. I think I was wrong. Pierce Brosnan looks pretty ridiculous as a centaur. I don't see how they could have made this one any better to. So if your a fan of the books, which are written by Rick Riordan, then go ahead and take a peek at this. Despite the ensemble cast, there's not much to talk about here. It's directed by Chris Columbus.
