The Client (1994, PG-13)

The story in the Client is a simple one: a kid witnesses a murder/suicide, and is now pressured by attorneys to tell the full truth, but the kid denies is, and hires a lawyer.  Then the bad guys are trying to catch the kid so that he won't reveal the full truth because they are connected to the suicide.

It's directed by Joel Schumacher, and it stars Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon and Mark Ruffalo.  The Client has a semi-engaging plot follwed by a shallow climax.  It's based off of another of John Grisham's many novels.  In addition, the Client, though not a bad movie by any means, is also forgettable.
