The Babe (1992, PG)

This pic bombed at the box-office, despite being based on the life of the legendary Babe Ruth.  Poorly written, acted and played out.  John Goodman, who starred in the title role, was disappointed in his own performance.  Also, there's hardly any baseball in it--and isn't this a sports movie?  Overall, weak, and unkind and unfair to the real life Babe Ruth.
